Although, in places, the route was a little damp underfoot, both the weather and the walking conditions were quite reasonable and there were some good views to be had both from the valley and the high-ground.
Many thanks to Jane and Phil for planning and leading the walk. The actual route taken was one of three different options they had prepared - depending upon the weather conditions the level of water under-foot and who turned out on the day.
